A lip colour in exactly the right light. An eye that holds the frame without trying. Skin that looks the way skin looks when someone knows what they are doing behind the camera. Beauty and fashion portrait photography lives in the details, and the details are where this work begins.

This studio series moves across registers without losing its edge, crystal and shadow for the nights worth remembering, teal organza and gold for something quieter but no less considered, close crops that turn a face into a landscape. Each look was approached as its own brief, with its own logic, its own mood, its own reason to exist.
